We had a wonderful time going to the High Desert Museum in Bend with some of our friends the other day. I haven’t been in years! It was almost exactly how I remembered it. We watched the bird of prey show and had a great time walking through the settler’s mill and checking out the sawmill that just started up again over the weekend. Here’s some pics from our fun day!

Beautiful owl, I think it was a snowy owl

Porcupine, I love how he climbed down the log backward

Jaden loved the water pump in the Settler’s Mill

Ashlynn’s friend Paighton sawing a log the old fashioned way

The kids loved checking out the tee pee

Which child is dirtier? Hahaha! I love that these girls both love to get down and dirty in the sand and mud! Such great friends!

I loved this little desert lizard inside the Desertarium

The girls really loved the Native American touch table where they got to play drums and try on the beautiful jingle dress that was on display

There was so much more to see and do there, I could post a hundred pictures!
